Measures against blue-green algae, sludge decomposition, iron odor control, and water quality improvement have been implemented in ponds at parks in Fukagawa City, Hokkaido. Additionally, measures against blue-green algae were carried out in a koi pond within a factory in Kashima District, Ibaraki Prefecture, while water quality enhancement and clarity improvement were achieved in a scenic pond at a park in Fuchu City, Tokyo.
